Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To compare the efficacy and toxicity of TP(topotecan hydrochloride+cisplatin)and NP(navelbi_ ne+cisplatin)regimen chemotherapy in treating non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).METHODS:50patients with advanc_ ed stage NSCLC were randomly assigned to TP group(n=21)and NP group(n=29).The chemotherapy was repeated every21days as a cycle, and to evaluate efficacy after two cycles.RESULTS:The effective rate was52.4%for TP regimen group and51.7%for NP regimen group;the median survival time was9.2months for TP group and8.6months for NP group. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).The degree and incidence of side effects in the NP group were higher than those in the TP group, but no significant difference was found between the two groups(P0.05).CONCLUSIO_ NS:The two sets of regimen are similar in their efficacies and toxicity, both with satisfactory tolerance.
