Abstract
Objective: To study the associativity between differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome and BMI and LEP in the patients with metabolic syndrome. Methods: The clinical data of 178 cases with metabolic syndrome were collected and divided into four patterns of syndrome, which were syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi,syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis, syndrome of deficiency of qi and yin,and syndrome of deficiency of qi of spleen and kidney. Then they were analyzed and studied. Results: The proportions of syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi and syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis were higher than those of the other two syndromes.Syndrome of deficiency of qi and yin and syndrome of deficiency of qi of spleen and kidney had the same proportions. The abdomen circumference and BMI in syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis were higher than those of the other three syndromes, and those in syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi were higher than those in syndrome of deficiency of qi and yin and syndrome of deficiency of qi of spleen and kidney.TC,LDL-C,INS,2hINS and LEP in syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi and syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis were higher remarkably than those in the other syndromes. Conclusion: The proportions of syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi and syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis were higher than those of the other two syndromes.Cholesterin increases more markedly in syndrome of retention of dampness due to stagnation of qi and syndrome of tangle of phlegm and blood stasis. So is insulin resistance(IR),which is more serious, and LEP secreted by adipose increases higherly more.
