Data Transmission Mechanism of FTTH Based on EPON

Abstract

EPON is the currently most widely used passive optical network broadband access technology.Based on the working principle of EPON the system structure and protocol stack model is introduced,and the data transmission mechanism of EPON is analyzed.In addition combined with the advantages of EPON used in FTTH,the application prospect is predicted.It has important guidance significance in the deployment of EPON technology in FTTH.
