Abstract

With the triple play implementing,the high-bandwidth multimedia applications is becoming popular,so the 10 G EPON access technology has become a hot technology,this paper describes the several features of 10 G EPON,such as higher bandwidth,large splitting ratio,longer distance.the major 10 G EPON technologies have been deployed for FTTH、FTTB、FTTO、FTTN application.Finally,the prospect of 10 G EPON technology is followed.
