Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect and safety of sertraline combined with quetiapine in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) with psychotic symptoms. Methods:A total of 60 OCD patients with psychotic symptoms were assigned to observed group(n=30) and control group(n=30) according to random digits table for the treatment of 8 weeks.Observed group was given sertraline in addition to quetiapine, and control group was sertraline alone. The clinical effect was assessed with Y-ROCS,HAMA,HAMD and BPRS at the end of 8th week. The adverse reaction was evaluated by TESS.Results:Compared with pretreatment, scores of the Y-BOCS,HAMA,HAMD and BPRS decreased in two groups(P0.05).The scores difference of the Y-BOCS,HAMA,HAMD and BPRS had statistical significance at the end of 8th week between the two groups(P0.05).There was no significant difference in side effects between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Sertraline combined with quetiiapine is more effective than sertraline in the treatment of OCD with psychotic symptoms.
