Discussion on Labor and Labor Value in Socialist Conditions

This paper analyzes the demonstration of Marxist theory on labor and labor value and its historical background and holds that Marxist theory on labor value belongs to special capitalist domain. Its significance lies in providing strong ideological weapons for the working class to overthrow exploiting capitalist system and to liberate the working class while standing on the side of the working class. This paper also expatiates on the characteristics of labor under socialist conditions and comes to the point that in knowledge economy, labor including production labor will depend more on mental work. It puts forward such points of view as that under the primary socialism stage, where with public-ownership as the main body, all kinds of ownerships co-exist, the work of all workers in all legal working fields in socialist system is labor, they are the constructors (i.e. laborer) of socialism, they work to contribute to the cause of constructing socialism, and labor produces wealth.
