Deepening the Understanding of Labor and the Theory of Labor Value

The Marxist theory of labor value constitutes the theoretical basis for the socialist system. However, the past application of socialism in China was at a distance between the original design made by Marx, because of such constraints as specific conditions in a country, and the level of development of the productive forces. In the new situation, it is very significant to deepen the understanding of labor and the theory of labor value and necessary to maintain Marx's scientific theory of labor value, and at the same time, efforts have to be made to further develop the Marxist theory of labor and labor value, taking China's reality into account.
