Analysis on ecological footprint of Dezhou in 2002

According to the concept and calculation method of ecological footprint,this paper calculated and analyzed the ecological footprint and ecological capacity of Dezhou city in 2002 with related data.The result shows that the ecological footprint per capita is 1.8045797 hm~2,the ecological capacity per capita is 0.612618 hm~2,and the ecological deficit per capita is 1.1919617 hm~2,which imply that the present developing situation of Dezhou city is unsustainable.Based on the results,this paper analyzed the reasons by the numbers,put forward resolvents,and also discussed some problems on the ecological footprint analysis found during the calculation process.
