Abstract

Objective to study the changes and their clinical significance of serum Uric Acid (UA)and C- reactive protein(CRP)in pateins with Coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods US and CRP in 52 patients with various CHD were measured and compared with those in 35 healthy controls. Results The levels of CRP\UA were significantly higher in CHD group than those in healthy group(P0.01).The percent of hyperurice mia and high CRP in patients with CHD increase significantly(P0.01).Conclusion UA and associated with CHD .They are risk factors for CHD ,and CRP may be an independent one for CHD.
