Yuan Shikai was an important figure on Chinese political stage at the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China.He was also one of the historical figures whom historians have been trying to reevaluate in recent years.With deep research to Yuan Shikai,some scholars disputed about YuanShikai's attribution and mistakes.It's true that breaking the stereotyped mode of evaluating historical figures and reevaluate Yuan Shikai can help us to get a comprehensive understanding of a true Yuan Shikai.But it may also bring people confusion.In our opinion,we should not go from one extreme to the other.We should restore Yuan Shiklai to histoand give him an objective and fair judgement.
