Abstract
Using ideas of Pro/E parametric design,some basic method of building the spur gear model based on Pro/E 3.0 system was studied by combining with living modeling. Some fundamental rules of gear parts were illustrated. By using of Pro/E Integrated Pro/MECHANICA structure analysis module,the static analysis of the stress and deformation of straight gear under a certain load was made. So the performance of structure of the designed model can be evaluated,researched and optimized in a real working environment.
