Abstract
With the way of parametric design and behavior modeling technique,the optimization design of helical gear shaft and Analysis of parts quality changing by was done by Pro/Engineer and Pro/Mechanica.At first the 3D model of helical gear shaft was modeled in Pro/Engineer,then defining the mathematical model,and the finite model was finished by switching to the Pro /Mechanica.Then the crucial design parameter was found by sensitivity analysis.The best structure was gained by optimization for the parameter.Such an approach model is very helpful to improve the design efficiency and quality of parts.The model can be applied to other similar parts of the design process.
