Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between clinical features and pathological characters in patients with IgA nephropathy(IgAN). Methods The clinical and pathologic data of 109 patients with IgA nephropathy during January 2006 to June 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. Results There was no significant correlation between hematuria and Lee of IgAN grades. The amount urine proteins,symptomatic hypertension and kidney function damage had significant positive correlation with Lee of IgAN grades. The amount urine proteins,symptomatic hypertension,and kidney function damage were positively correlated with Lee of IgAN grades,glomerulosclerosis,and tubulointerstitial damage. Conclusion Constant large amount of proteinuria and symptomatic hypertension are important risk factors that indicate the unfavourable prognosis of IgA nephropathy and should be active treated.
