Abstract
Science and technology plays a promotional and revolutionary power in the development of human society. It is the basic elements of productivity, with the value of promoting the development of productive forces. It is able to achieve social changes through the development of productivity. The relationship between social development and science and technology is dialectical and united, that is, the needs of social development promote the progress of science and technology and the progress of science and technology enhances the development of social productivity. Ways to develop scientific and technological power include: realizing workers' wisdom, promoting materials of production's materialization and eliminating the alienation of science and technology.
