Abstract
Rutin and quercetin in Tartary buckwheat were analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)/photodiode array detection(PDA).An Intersil ODS-SP C18 column(150 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) was used. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.5% phosphoric acid(adjusting pH to 4.5 by potassium dihydrogen phosphate)(40:60).The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was at 255 nm.Result: The content of rutin and quercetin was liner over the range of 1.98~39.60 μg/mL and 2.08~41.60 μg/mL,respectively.The average recover was 99.2% and 98.3% with RSD of 0.3% and 0.48%,respectively.The results were: The method is simple, accurate, reproducible and can be used in the determining of rutin and quercetin tartary buckwheat.
