Nonparametric Test to Technological Innovation Efficiency of Larger and Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises in China

Nonparametric test to technological innovation efficiency of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in China is studied. Firstly, this paper sifts out evaluating indexes with the use of statistic method. Secondly, it measures the technological innovation efficiency of larger and medium-sized industrial enterprises in China. Thirdly, it tests efficiency distribution for regions using nonparametric statistical methods. The results show that technology innovation efficiency of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in eastern region is higher than that of other regions in China, in addition to Heibei and Shandong province. The technology innovation efficiency of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Central and western region in China is generally low, in addition to Chongqing city. The technology innovation efficiency distribution of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises within the areas of eastern, central and western regions there are significant differences. Even if the technological innovation efficiency in those areas is equivalent, their efficiency distribution is not necessarily the same.
