The Dynamic Analysis on Technological Innovation Efficiency of Regional Big Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises in China

Taking panel data of Chinese 30 provincial regions' big medium-sized industrial enterprises from 2001 to 2008 as sample,based on Malmquist index and DEA model,this paper evaluates the dynamic changes in technological innovation efficiency of them,and examines the source of changes and differences in technological innovation efficiency of inter-provincial big medium-sized industrial enterprises.The results show that: there is a decline of the technological innovation efficiency of those enterprises,mainly dues to a decline in technical efficiency,which is the result of the drop of pure technological efficiency and scale efficiency at the same time;the growth mechanism of technological innovation efficiency is instable to certain degree,and there is obvious fluctuation of its technological innovation efficiency variation index.
