Abstract
Objective:To compare the therapeutic effects and costs between ofloxacin and fleroxacin on patients with lower respiratory infection. Methods:The patients with lower respiratory infection were randomized into two groups: group one received ofloxain, and group two received fleroxcin. Pharmacoeconomy evaluation was performed by minimized cost analysis. Results:The effective rates of group one and group two were 85.71% and 90.00%, the adverse reaction rates were 10.71% and 10.00%(P 0.05), and the expenditures 960.50 yuan and 2 231.25 yuan, respectively. Conclusion:By the cost-effectiveness analysis ofloxacin is better than that of fleroxcin.
