Abstract

Aminosulfonic acid is used as the catalyst for preparing cyclohexyl formate. The factors that affect on reaction were studied. The optimal condition as follows: molar ratio of cyclohexanol to formic acid was 1∶2,reaction time of reflux was 1.0 h,mass of catalyst was 5.3% of cyclohexanol. The yield of esterification may reach 80.7% in the condition.
