Abstract
Aminosulfonic acid is a good catalyst on the esterification reaction of butyl benoate. The suitable conditions have been found. The optimum conditions is selected as following:The dose of catalyst is 0.6?g/0.1?mol benoatic acid, the mole ratio of alchol to acid is 2∶1 and the best reaction time is 3.5~4.0?h. The esterification of benoatic acid is about 97.26%. Experimental results showed that aminosulfonic acid is a highly active catalyst for the reaction, with little amount, good esterification, least waste discargement. It is a very practical method in industry.
