Abstract

Earthquake action is an important factor that affects structural progressive collapse, first.the characteristics of the earthquake action are analyzed, the seismic design and collapse-resistance design are compared,in order to consider the effect of seismic intensity on the structure,non-seismic and seismic intensity of 6(0.05 g),7(0.1 g),8(0.2 g) of four typical four-layer frameworks were established.According to GSA guidelines, using the linear static analysis the frameworks' collapse-resistance capacity were analyzed. The results show the collapse capacity of 6 and 7 degree improved less than non-seismic structure;the collapse capacity of 8 degree is better.
