Clinical Study on Effect of Baitangping on Lowering Blood Glucose in Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Objective To Study the clinical efficacy of lowering blood glucose of Batangping in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods 120 cases in-and out-patients were divided into 2 groups,60 cases each group,group A (treatment group)was administrated with Baitangping,but group B(control group) was administrated with glybenclamide for 6 weeks.Results The total efficacy rate of group A is 98.3%,but that of group B is 46.7%.There is significant difference between two groups (P0.01).Conclusion Baitangping in treatment of type 2 Diabetes mellitus can significantly lower blood glucose after eating,less adverse effect and more efficacy.
