Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of color Doppler imaging(CDI)for polypoid lesions of the gallbladder. Methods The features of CDI and postoperative pathologic results about the polypoid lesions of the gallbladder in 71 patients were analyzed. Results The lesion diameter of adenoma and gallbladder carcinoma was larger than cholesterol polyp, adenomyosis and phlogistic polyp. When the diameter of polyp lesions larger than 8mm was adopted as diagnostic criteria, the sensitivity and specificity of the ultrasound in diagnosis of adenoma and gallbladder carcinoma were 87.7% and 81.5%.When PSV≥0.2m/s and RI≥0.65 were adopted as diagnostic criteria, the sensitivity and specificity of the ultrasound in diagnosis of adenoma and gallbladder carcinoma were 90.1% and 86.3%.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound is confirmed of great value in diagnosis of polypoid lesions of the gallbladder by analyzing the lesion diameter and CDI criteria.
