The value of color doppler sonography in diagnosing polypoid lesion of gallbladder

Objective To evaluate the value using color Doppler sonography in diagnosing polypoid lesion of gallbladder.Methods 57 patients with polypoid lesion of gallbladder proved by operation and pathology were examined by color Doppler sonography.Results Blood flow signals were detected in 3 cases of 4 patients with gallbladder cancer,12 cases of patients with polypoid lesion of gallbladder,and none in the rest with adenomatosis and adenoma.Resistant index of benign tumor were lower than that of gallbladder cancer.Conclusions Color Doppler sonography has important clinical value in differentiating polypoid lesion of gallbladder.
