Abstract
A finite element model for the frame of the crusher is established using shell element as the basic element,through predigesting the CAD model and drawing out surfaces from the model of the crusher's frame by HyperMesh.The modal analysis was studied by ANSYS,and analyzes the dynamic characteristics of the frame based on the natural frequencies,modal shapes.It also supplies foundation in theory to improve design of the frame.
