Analysis of Arab States' "Looking Eastward" Policy

Since the end of the Cold War,and particularly since the founding of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum in 2004,Arab countries' Looking Eastward policy is increasingly apparent.Such a policy has profound dynamics,and the most influential factors are the transformation of international patterns,the flawed U.S.Middle East policies,the Arab countries' exploration of suitable development modes in face with both domestic and overseas challenges,and the remarkable economic growth of China.The Arab countries' Looking Eastward strategy has transformed the pattern of big powers' interaction in the Middle East and facilitated the further development of multi-polarity.Meanwhile,the higher expectation that Arab countries have pinned on China will bring the latter not only opportunities,but also challenges.
