Invigorating Sino-Arab Relations by “One Belt and One Road” Strategy

This article reviews the development of Sino-Arab relations in the past six decades. Politically, the two sides support each other and safeguard their rights. Economically, the two sides have complementary advantages and advance win-win cooperation. Since the Middle East Turmoil in the end of 2010, China always pays close attention to the situation in Arab countries and wishes the unrest in the Arab countries end soon and the stability be recovered. As time goes on, the Arab countries will increase their understandings to China's position of respecting the national sovereignty and independence, insisting on not to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, and standing for the political settlement of disputes. They will come to learn that China is a reliable and contactable country. Under the Belt and One Road' Strategy, Sino-Arab relations will thrive.
