Abstract
Ancient Chinese clothes used to have big sleeves.Things changed after the Revolution of 1911.A plurality was shown in the coexistence of Western-style clothes,student dress,traditional long gown and mandrin jacket,and national costumes,Chinese tunic suit and cheongsam.There were great differences between the clothes of different social classes,political sects and regions.At that time,a person's dress still revealed his or her social status.
