Comparative Study of the Pain of AH Plus and Zinc Oxide Eugenol Paste after Root Canal Filling

Abstract

Objective to compare of the pain influence of AH Plus and zinc oxide eugenol paste after root canal filling.Methods A total of 346 permanent teeth which needed root canal therapy,randomly divided into experimental group(the use of AH Plus root canal filling paste) and control group(the use of root canal filling agent zinc oxide eugenol paste).Assess the Acute reaction after 1 week and the curative effect after 2 year.Results the control group and experimental group patients'acute reaction incidence were 17.8% and 6.0% in 1 week of root canal filling(P0.01),After 2 year of root canal filling,The achievement ratio of control group and experimental group were 84.5% and 95.0%, there were highly significant difference between two group after statistical tes(tP0.01).Conclusion the use of AH Plus root canal filling can significantly relieve the postoperative pain of root canal filling.
