Brief remarks on learning-oriented teaching reform

This paper elaborates the relationship between teaching and learning both in the ancient times and in present days. It is pointed out that teaching reform should be conducted by taking student learning as the starting point and ultimate target. Teaching activities should be student-centered. Meanwhile new views of learning quality are given, and some countermeasures are suggested about how to improve learning quality.
