Abstract
Objective: To observe the changes and the clinical significance of the platelet count(PLT),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW) and platelet crit(PCT) in acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL).Method: Ac.T 5diff automated blood cell analyzer was used to test the parameters of blood platelet(PLT/MPV/PDW/PCT) in 67 cases of patients with ALL and compared with 50 cases of health controls.Result: Except for PDW,other 3 indexes were significantly lower in patients with ALL at onset stage than in the controls(P0.01),The results of PLT,PDW and PCT were markedly lower in patients with ALL at the marrow restrain phase than in the onset stage(P0.01),MPV is lower than in the onsrt stage, but was no significant difference between these two groups(P0.05).In the early stage of marrow remission, four indexes were significantly higher than in the marrow restrain plase.Upon the complete remission,4 indexes were significantly higher in patients of ALL after treatment than in the onset stage(P0.01),but have no significant difference between the complete remission and the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: It suggested that it is a important value to study the change of four platrlet parameters in the patients of ALL for evaluating the function of bone marrow, the treatment and prognosis during chemotherapy.
