Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of Matrine at different concentrations on cervical cancer cells. Methods:Matrine at different concentrations(0.5,1.0,1.5 and 2.0 g/L) was respectively used to cultivate cervical cancer HeLa cells in vitro. After HeLa cells were cultivated for 24,48 and 72 hours respectively, the effect of Matrine on cervical cancer cells was assayed by MTT,flowcytometry(FCM) and RT-PCR method respectiveLy.Results:Matrine inhibited the proliferation and induced apoptosis of HeLa cells on dose-and time-depending manner, and the differences among different concentration and time groups were significant(all P0.01).The expression of survivin mRNA was also decreased. Conclusion:Matrine restrained the proliferation of HeLa cells significantLy,and the decreasing of survivin Marine may be one of the mechanisms of cervical cancer HeLa cell apoptosis induced by Matrine.
