Abstract
Objective: To observe the sedation of shukemian capsule on mice. Methods: To observe dose-effect and lime-effect relationship of its sedation, and l.o observe its function of anticonvulsion induced by strychnine. Results: Shukemian capsule can reduce the activities of mice markedly after ig for 7 days; Furthermore, the high dose group' s function keep dose - effect relationship and the spontanous activities of mice reduced when dose increased. All kind of groups delayed the time of convulsive and death induced by strychnine. Conclusions: Shukemiau capsule has the function of reduce spontanous activities of mice and the effect of anticonvulsion of mice induced by strychnine.
