Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect and adverse reaction of escitalopram combined with buspirone in treatment of depression with somatic symptoms. Methods 120 patients with depression were divided into study group and control group randomly,60 cases in each group, study group was treated with escitalopram combined with buspirone, and control group was only given escitalopram and placebo, treatment course was total of 8 weeks, the efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated with Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD), Hamilton anxiety rating scale(HAMA), and treatment emergent symptom scale(TESS). Results After treatment, HAMD, HAMA scores of the two groups were significantly decreased, the difference was significant(P0.05), After 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks treatment, the HAMD, HAMA score of study group were lower than the control group(P0.05),adverse reactions of two groups was not significantly different(P0.05). Conclusion Escitalopram combined with buspirone in treatment of depression with somatic symptoms can enhance the overall curative effect, and no enhance adverse reaction.
