Abstract

Objective To evaluate the correlation between H-type hypertension and the systemic inflammation. Methods A cohort of 112 inpatients with essential hypertension were randomized to the control group(n=55) and the H-type hypertension group(n=57).The mean value of 24-hour ambulance blood pressure and the concentrations of fasting serum High-sensitivity C-reactive protein(HsCRP)、Homocystein(Hcy)were observed in two groups. Results There was no significant differences in the mean value of blood pressure between two groups(P0.05).But the HsCRP concentrations in both groups showed statistical significance(P0.05).The index in H-type hypertension group increased obviously as compared with the control group. Conclusion The mechanism of inflammation damage in H-type hypertension may be related to a cooperative action between hyperhomocystinemia and hypertension.Positive measures should be taken to control it.
