Abstract
Objective:To study the correlation between high-sensitive C-reactive protein(hsCRP)and hypertension. Methods:The content of serum hsCRP was examined in 56 patients with hypertension(hypertension group)and 56 normal persons(normal control group). Results:The serum hsCRP content of hypertension group was more than that of normal control group(P<0.05).The serum hsCRP contents of patients with hypertension stage 3 was more than those of patients with hypertension stage 1 and 2(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between patients with hypertension stage 1 and stage 2(P>0.05).Conclusion:The serum hsCRP content increase in patients with hy- pertension,it may reflect blood pressure level. The inflammation reaction may participate genesis of hypertension.
