Abstract

Aim To provide information for rational drug use in clinical by investigating the occurrence and characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADR)induced by traditional Chinese medicine injections occurring in our hospital. Methods We collected date of the patients who suffered ADR of traditional Chinese medicine injections during 2006~2009,and analysed this statistics by retrospective survey methodology. Results Patients over the age of 61 years showed a higher incidence of ADR.The 245 ADR cases were related to 37 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine injections and 8 kinds of systems. Conclusion Great importance should be attached to ADR monitoring to reduce the happening of ADR and increase the security of the drugs.
