Abstract
The shotcrete technology has become one of the most effective means for supporting in underground engineering and geotechnical engineering,it could be taken as the structure's permanent support and protection,or along with other support and protection components,maintain the structure long-term stability and safety handling.Here,combining with the research status,supporting mechanism and mechanical characteristics of the steel fiber reinforced shotcrete in single layer tunnel lining,the application of the shotcrete in the inclined shaft of Xiakou Tunnel in Yichang-to-Badong Expressway is introduced,which could be used as references to similar projects in the future.
