Abstract
From the point of promotion on economic development of southwest of Shandong Province, and using the method of literature, questionnaire and mathematical statistics, this paper conducts a large size questionnaire investigation on the motivation, consume level, structure of the sports consumption and the primary factors which impact on the residents sports consumption and so on among senior citizen in Luxinan. The result shows that the level of the sports consumption is relatively low, the structure of sports consumption is improper. The main factors which impact on the residents' sports consumption are traditional economic factors and concept. It suggests that the relevant departments should make an active promotion and develop sports market for the senior citizen.
