Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of mucosa ligation above anal cushion in treating internal hemorrhoids at Ⅱ~Ⅲ stages. Methods: A total of 100 patients with internal hemorrhoids at Ⅱ~Ⅲ stages were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group in which 50 patients were treated with the mucosa ligation above anal cushion, and the control group in which 50 patients were treated with the conventional ligation. The postoperative improvements of hemorrhoid prolapse, dysuria, wound bleeding, wound pain and edema of wound margin were observed.Meanwhile, the hospitalization time and hospitalization cost were compared. Results: The hospitalization time and cost of treatment group were obviously reduced compared with control group(P0.05).After operation, the prolapse symptom disappeared in both groups;there was no patient with dysuria in the treatment group and six patients with dysuria in the control group, with statistical difference between two groups(P0.05);the wound bleeding, wound pain and edema of wound margin of patients in treatment group were better than control group on the 3rd and 5th days after operation(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion: The mucosa ligation above anal cushion can significantly improve the prolapse symptom of patients with internal hemorrhoids at Ⅱ~Ⅲ stages, reduce the postoperative complications, shorten the hospitalization time, and decrease the hospitalization cost.
