Abstract

Objective:To search the way of diagnosing and saving acute tetramine toxication.Methods:98 toxic patients received diazepam , sodium ethylphenylbarbiturate , sodium dimercaptopropylsulfonate , sodium dipropylancetate , vitamin B6 and hemodialysis . The control group of 20 toxic patients received routine therapy . Examined the blood regulation, hepatonephric function, myocardial zymogram, ECG, EEG, and in parts of the patients , identified the density of tetramine in blood , urine and gastric contents .Results: Nerve system damage appeared in all cases . The damage extent in organs is positively associated with the level of leukocyte , granulocyte , hepatic function and the tetramine density in blood . The curative effecy and prognosis were comparably good in therapeutic group , while 4 of 20 toxic patients died in control group. Conclusion:The higher tetramine density in blood, the more damage in organs and the more clinical symptoms . However , the serious patients can also be healed if they can receive synthetic therapy and are paid enougs attention to the protection of organs .
