Abstract

Objective To study the clinical effects of routine comprehensive treatment for light and moderate tetramine intoxication. Methods 50 acute tetramine intoxication(ATI) patients performed routine comprehensive treatment, included earlier gastric lavage, effective anticonvulsion and other general therapy, for 1 to 30 days. The blood concentration of tetramine was determined. Results The blood concentrations of tetramine were decreased significantly(P0.01) from(31.2±18.6) ng/ml to(12.0±10.1) ng/ml by the treatment. The follow-up of 3 cases showed that the blood concentrations of tetramine decreased slowly in 6 months. Conclusions The effect of routine comprehensive treatment for light and moderate tetramine intoxication is significantly.
