Abstract
In order to solve the prevention and control problems of the spontaneous combustion in the fully mechanized top coal caving mining face in Jiaxin Energy Company,based on the analysis on the spontaneous combustion dangers in No.1501 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face,the temperature rising oxidization tests were conducted with the coal samples from No.14 and No.15 seams and the carbon monoxide and ethylene were determined as the index gas of the seam spontaneous combustion.The goaf nitrogen injection CFD model and the theoretical calculation and other method were applied to the study on the goaf nitrogen injection technology.The test results showed that the nitrogen injection as the main technical measure and the sealed woven nylon bags applied to the leakage sealing of the top and tail face ends,weathering retarder sprayed between the powered supports as well as the others as the auxiliary could be successfully applied to control the spontaneous combustion dangers in the goaf of No.1501 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face.The CO volume fraction of the mining air returning gateway could be reduced from 0.008 0% to 0.001 5% and the CO volume fraction at the top corner could be reduced from 0.010 0% to 0.004 0%.
