Wild ornamental plant resources in Baiyun Mountain, Zhejiang

Abstract
Situated in the south of Zhejiang Province, Baiyun Mountain is abundant in wild ornamental plant resources. According to the investigation, the characteristics, diversity and distribution of the plant resources are described. There are 792 species of wild ornamental plants under 115 families and 400 genera, including 168 species of trees, 172 species of shrubs, 104 species of vines and 346 species of herbs. Some suggestions for protection and utilization of the wild ornamental plant resources are discussed.
