Wild ornamental plant resources in Xinchang, Zhejiang.

Abstract
Xinchang County is located at east of Zhejiang Province and abundant in wild ornamental plant resources. There are 783 species of wild ornamental plants belonging to 143 families and 408 genera, including 197 species of trees, 218 species of shrubs, 108 species of vines and 260 species of herbs. According to the investigation, the characteristics, diversity and distribution of the plant resources were described. Some suggestions for protection and utilization of the wild ornamental plant resources were discussed.
