Research on the Wild Ornamental Plant Resources of Southern Taihang Mountain

Abstract
The wild ornamental plant resources of southern Taihang Mountain in Henan Province were investigated and studied in this paper.The results showed that: there were 69 families 109 genera 209 species of wild ornamental plant,including 65 arbor species,73 shrub species,22 vine species and 49 herb species,which were described according to ornamental types of plant shape,leaf,flower and fruit.According to the wild plant resource developmental status of the area,some suggestions for sustainable utilization of the wild ornamental plant resources were also discussed.
