Motivation and Value Orientation on the Sports Scientific Research in Universities in Beijing

With the method of questionnaire,documentation and mathematic statistics,the paper researches the university scientific research motivation and value orientation in Beijing.It finds that: 1) The motivation of the scientific research in universities in Beijing are mainly related to interests,bread earning and vanity.The people doing research for pursuing the truth is less;2) the teachers with young age,high academic background and low professional title have higher motivation of scientific research while the teachers with senior age,low education background and high professional title are less motivated.3) The value orientation of teachers is positive but they have less consideration on the intervention factors which may lead to blind orientation.4) Scientific research motivation and value orientation are positively correlated.It proposes to firstly enhance the education background of the teachers and cancel the life-long effective professional title system to motivate scientific research and secondly to encourage the teachers to gradually turn the correct value orientation in surface to the in-depth level and achieve the transfer route of blindness-freedom-initiative-voluntary.
