Application of syphilis serology test in diagnosis of syphilis

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the three kinds of syphilis serologic test in the diagnosis of syphilis in the application.METHODS A total of 65 cases of syphilis positive sera and 96 healthy individuals negative sera were detected by TPHA,TP-ELISA,and the TPPA three methods.RESULTS TRUST was used to detecte 65 cases of syphilis in serum,61 cases of positive and negative in 4 cases,the positive rate of 93.8%.TP-ELISA detected out 65 cases of syphilis in serum,63 cases of positive and negative in 2 cases,positive rate of 96.9%.TPPT detected 65 cases of syphilis,65 cases of positive and negative 0 cases,the positive rate of 100%.Three methods tested 96 cases healthy serum,TRSUT and TP-ELISA were detected in biological false positive.CONCLUSIONS The sensitivity and specificity of TRUST are the lowest.Thesensitivity and specificity of TP-ELISA are higher than TRUST,sensitivity and specificity of TPPA are the highest.TRSUT non-specific serological tests for syphilis can only be as a curative effect observation and follow-up whether relapse or reinfection indicators.
