Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility of the syphilis fast to test syphilis antibody. Methods:50 cases with syphilis and 30 normal control have been detected by syphilis fast. Results:There were 47 cases positive and 3 cases negative in 50 syphilis patient serum, one case positive and 29 cases negative in 30 normal control serum in Syphilis Fast test. The sensitivity of Syphilis Fast test was 94.0% (47/50) and the specificity was 96.7% (29/30). Conclusion: The Syphilis Fast test was possessed simply and quickly, but the sensitivity and specificity were high.
