From Prospective Planning to Concept Planning

This paper discusses the main ideas on concept planning,the main viewpoints are as follows; prospect planning and concept planning come down in one continuous line. Urban planning includes four levels; urban research,urban planning,urban design and urban management, and concept planning could strengthen the stage of urban research, and this kind of high level research contributes to the content and method of the current urban planning system,and bring challenges for planners to renew their knowledge.
